LeVasseur has been licensed as a practicing attorney in the State of Michigan for over 20 years, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Focusing on serving the mortgage and real estate industries, Mr. LeVasseur practices in the areas of mortgage foreclosures, land contract forfeitures, evictions, quiet title actions, tax titles, property tax appeals, corporate and LLC formations, and real estate litigation. Mr. LeVasseur has been a guest speaker to landlord groups, lecturing on the topics of eviction law and collections, and also has served as a panel moderator for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's symposium "Saving the American Dream: Addressing the Foreclosure Crisis in Michigan". He also has provided expert commentary on Bloomberg Television’s On Demand public service programming discussing foreclosure prevention. He is a member of the real estate law section of the State Bar of Michigan, and in addition to being a licensed attorney, is a licensed real estate broker and member of the Michigan Association of Realtors®.
Allen J. Dyer has been a licensed practicing attorney in the State of Michigan for over 12 years, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Mr. Dyer has represented a broad range of clients, including mortgage lenders, mortgage servicers, financial institutions, property managers, property investors, and small businesses. In addition to focusing his practice on matters pertaining to mortgages, land contracts, evictions and real estate title matters, Mr. Dyer also has extensive experience representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, and assisting professionals in real estate construction and development matters. Mr. Dyer is a member of the real estate law section of the State Bar of Michigan, and has served as a Trustee for the City of Berkley's Downtown Development Authority.
